Chloe Trenouth presents at the 2017 NZPI Conference

In April I had the pleasure of presenting to the NZPI Conference a case study for recognising Māori cultural landscapes at Puhinui. As part of the Proposed Auckland Unitary Plan process I  was part of Auckland Council’s team along with Te Ākitai Waiohua and other experts in the development of precinct provisions for the Puhinui area to identify and recognise the Māori cultural landscape values of Te Ākitai Waiohua. The presentation set out the process and highlights some of the opportunities, challenges and lessons.
