Trevor Mackie
Trevor Mackie has recently joined Hill Young Cooper Ltd. He arrives with more than 20 years experience in resource management policy. He was previously the Group Manager City Environment with North Shore City, where he oversaw spatial and land use planning for this rapidly growing city. During his time at North Shore it transitioned from a collection of suburban areas into a city. Big projects included the structure planning for Long Bay, integration of land use and the three waters, Regional policy integration, development of Albany, infill housing and intensification, town centre area and corridor planning, and the quality of urban development.
Trevor represented North Shore City on the Regional Policy Steering Group, supporting the Regional Sustainable Development Forum and the preparation of One Plan, Auckland Sustainability Framework, Growth Strategy Review, the Regional Future Land Use and Transport Scenario Study and the New Planning Framework.
